Developmental Biology

Institut Curie and Sorbonne Université organize their 12th International Developmental Biology course.

The aim of the program is to provide the participants a comprehensive coverage of the paradigms, problems and technologies of modern Developmental Biology paying particular attention to stem cells.

Training in theoretical and experimental aspects of normal and abnormal development is developed through a variety of embryonic systems using state-of-the-art instrumentation and methodology.

The program is proposed in two versions (more information available below) and please note there are two registration deadlines :

Long Version Course -  Practical Workshops + lectures: Registration is closed.

Short Version Course - Lectures only: Registration until September 15th.

Objectives

Personal Work

Besides the practical workshops, during the 10-day long short version,  students will present scientific articles related to the topics discussed.

ECTS Information

This course is part of the Sorbonne Université International Master (2nd Year).

Sorbonne Université grants 6 ECTS for the short version course (10 days, code NV520) and 12 ECTS for the long version course (4.5 weeks - code NV511).

The programis organized in two versions:

Long Version (SU grants 12 ECTS - 4,5 Weeks) - (limited to 18 students):

- including 3 weeks of practical woekshops at Université Sorbonne ; September 20- October 8, 2021 (3 weeks)

-10 days of lectures ; October 11- 20, 2021

You must also mention in your motivation statement that you are enrolling for Practicals - long version course.

 

Short Version (SU grants 6 ECTS - 10 days)

- a 10 days of lectures at Institut Curie (limited to 35 students) October 11- 20, 2021

Students will present scientific articles related to the topics discussed.

Students and lecturers will have the opportunity to meet during an informal coffee break or lunch every day.

No registration fees are requested.

However, accommodation and meals are at the charge of participant.
