Poster Dev and Cancer 2023
International course

Development & Cancer

The course is dedicated to the most current knowledge linking developmental biology with the cellular and molecular study of cancers. Neural crest and melanomas, from their initiation to their migration (metastasis) as well as medulloblastomas are taken as examples. Modifications of metabolism within tumor cells are also tackled.

The course benefits from a multidisciplinary approach at multiple scales (embryology on various models, cell biology, transcriptomics, imaging ...). It ends with presentations of therapeutic approaches.

The course includes round tables on careers in academia or industry, on scientific article publication as well as on ethics in animal experimentation. Posters sessions for doctoral students are also organized and prizes for the best posters will be awarded by the attendees.
