6th Advanced Course on Immune-Cell Biology and its Relevance to Cancer Immunotherapy

This sixth workshop will focus on DC and T-cell biology and cancer immunotherapy. This type of treatment consists in treating cancer by stimulating the immune system to efficiently attack cancer cells. Speakers will include internationally renowned scientists that will provide a general overview of basic, translational, and clinical research in the field and will present their most recent data.

Objectives

The aim of this course is to better understand how the immune system’s players including dendritic and T cells, detect and fight cancer cells and how their activity can be boosted.

There will be the possibility of submitting a poster and/or an oral presentation to the evaluation of a Selection Committee.

There will be the possibility of submitting a poster and/or an oral presentation (10 min) to the evaluation of a Selection Committee.

Registration is free and open to all international academic and industrial scientists, Postdocs, immunology students starting from M2 level and MDs working in the field. Students outside of the DCBIOL LabEx will have to pay/organize themselves for flight tickets, hotel fees and one dinner.
