This international course will address a crucial question for clinical, radiation and medical oncologists: how to combine systemic treatments and radiation therapy in breast cancer? In other words, is it advisable to continue or to stop the systemic treatments once a radiotherapy treatment is decided? and what should be the time frame?
With the ambitious objective of evaluating treatment associations for breast cancer patients and discussing the mechanisms of interaction, we aim at presenting the evidenced-based data and through lively discussions and brainstorming, propose to change or not the current clinical practice.
