Welcome Day

for PhD & Postdocs 2025

The Welcome Day at Institut Curie is a key moment to warmly welcome new PhD students and postdoctoral researchers as they begin their journey within our scientific community.

Held on Monday, November 4, 2025, this half-day event offers a friendly and informative introduction to the Institute’s environment, values, and resources. Through short talks and informal exchanges, participants will discover how to navigate life and work at Institut Curie, meet support teams, and hear from fellow researchers.

The program includes:

  • An introduction to the PhD program and university partners
  • Practical guidance for settling in (HR, health, training, scientific integrity)
  • Insights from peers and the early-career researchers' association (ADIC)
  • A cocktail and networking moments to meet colleagues and build connections

More than just an orientation day, the Welcome Day is designed to help each new researcher feel informed, supported, and part of the Curie community from day one.
