Designing your career plan and getting ready to meet a recruiter

Venue has changed!!

PhD holders can meet potential recruiters in different settings (job fairs and forums, networking events, job interviews). To seize opportunities and to make a good impression, they need to ensure that their presentation is relevant, easy-to-understand and effective. For this, their written and oral communication should be representative of who they are, their experiences, and especially their skills, also meeting recruiters’ expectations for non-academic sector.
Participating in this training will help explore the job market for PhDs and to learn how to approach industry professionals and recruiters. Participants will be ready to communicate effectively while responding to recruiters’ questions, as well as while submitting a business CV.
