Development & Cancer

9e edition

The course is dedicated to the most current knowledge linking developmental biology with the cellular and molecular study of cancers. Neural crest and melanomas, from their initiation to their migration (metastasis) as well as medulloblastomas are taken as examples. The course benefits from a multidisciplinary approach at multiple scales (embryology on various models, cell biology, transcriptomics, imaging ...). It ends with presentations of therapeutic approaches.

The course is punctuated by round tables on careers in R & D and academia and on publications of scientific articles. Poster sessions for doctoral students are also organized and prizes for the best posters will be awarded.
